Welcome to Woodriver's Howling Helpers K-Kids website.  The Howling Helpers are committed to improving their school and community via a wide range of student created activities.  Please refer to this site for information on current projects and events.

How to Join

Every Woodriver student in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade is welcome to join the Howling Helpers K-Kids.  Interested students should complete the application and attend our weekly Thursday meeting during the lunch and recess hour in the band and orchestra room.  Please introduce yourself to one of the advisers, Mrs. Brashear, Mrs. Cannon, or Mr. Kinder, and tell us you are interested in joining.

Committees
Howling Helpers interested in developing their leadership skills are invited to join small groups which will meet regularly to plan specific activities.  These groups are called committees.
We are planning on the following committees: 
Spirit Days, Community Service, Recycling, Library Helpers, Welcome Wagon, and Student Store.

​K-Kids of the Month

We will share examples of outstanding Howling Helpers.  

Projects and Activities

The Howling Helpers are responsible for the school's paper recycling program.

The Howling Helpers will plan and organize monthly school-wide service projects. 
We are currently planning the following projects:
