Welcome to Rob Kinder's EAST website.  Throughout the summer, this page will be updated with new information, links, and pictures of the students engaged in fun instructional and STEM activities.  Parents and guardians are encouraged to download pictures of their children.  Please email Rob if you have any questions.  Thank you.

Welcome to the Time Travelers Adventure

Embark on a journey through history with engaging experiences that involve experimentation and fun! Unlock the mysteries of chemistry and forces of nature by creating slime, journey to ancient Egypt and discover how to mummify, step back in time and explore castles and catapults, explore historical mining in Alaska, become a thrill seeker and explore rockets and robots of the future, become a survivor of a Mars challenge, and let your imagination soar beyond the stars and envision life in the future  You’ll capture all your adventures in digital journals to document your incredible journey!  Our room theme is the TARDIS from Doctor Who.

EAST Schedule
Daily Schedule - Monday - Thursday,  June 3rd - June 26th
  • 8:15 - 8:45     Bus Arrival and Parent Drop-off (front office)
  • 8:30 - 9:00    Breakfast (free provided by Food Services)
  • 9:00 - 9:20    EAST Openers
  • 9:20 - 9:50    Class Connections and SEL (Social and Emotional Learning)
  • 9:50 - 11:15     "Fields of Study" (see below)
  • 11:15 -11:45      Recess
  • 11:45 - 12:15    Lunch
​Packed Lunch from Home - We know many students prefer or need lunches brought from home, however there will not be a refrigerator or a microwave available, so please pack accordingly.
  • 12:15 - 2:30    Afternoon "Explorations" Sessions (see below)
  • 2:30 - 3:00    Reflection
  • 3:00 - 3:15     Bus Departure and Parent Pick-up
